S.T.R.O.N.G.™
Foundations Essentials

A more interactive option for staff to understand the approach, practice responses, and develop shared language across the team.

What your team will practice

  • S.T.R.O.N.G.™: Applying all six pillars—Safety; Trust and Transparency; Regulation; Opportunity for Voice and Choice; Nurturing Healthy Relationships; and Growth—to realistic care situations.
  • S.T.O.P.™: Recognizing personal stress cues, pausing, separating observations from assumptions, and selecting the next safe response.
  • L.E.A.D.™: Lowering intensity, establishing safety and boundaries, acknowledging concerns, and directing an interaction toward a workable next step.

Connect these tools to consistent staff communication, supportive handoffs, and clear boundaries.

What’s included

Small-group breakout sessions for practicing fictional scenarios based on situations relevant to the populations served by your organization, along with discussion, feedback, and time for questions.
